CHATEAU PRIEURE SAINTE ANNE

Overlooking the slopes of Capian, Château Le Prieuré Sainte-Anne is steeped in history, housed in a former 17th-century monastery located on the legendary Way of Saint James. Since 2018, the estate has been managed by Herwig and Annelies Callewier-Corne, a passionate Belgian couple. This 4.5-hectare vineyard thrives on an exceptional clay-gravel terroir with a perfect southern exposure. The vines are cultivated with deep respect for the environment, producing characterful red wines crafted primarily from Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging in oak barrels grants their cuvées a silky structure and refined woody notes. Blending historical tradition with modern winemaking techniques, the owners prioritize a warm and personalized welcome for every guest. The property serves as a true invitation to serenity, where each bottle reflects the unique alchemy between centuries-old heritage and the dedication of artisan winemakers striving for excellence in the heart of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux.
