Château SAINTE CATHERINE
The vineyards of Château Sainte-Catherine flourish across 66 hectares of clay-limestone soils, overlooking the Garonne Valley and the Landes. In 2013, renowned winemaker Jean Merlaut fell under the estate’s charm and breathed new life into it. A visionary and a true enthusiast, he is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of this exceptional terroir, supported by a committed and passionate team.
Since 2019, the vineyard has been cultivated organically, and the estate has earned High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, highlighting its strong commitment to biodiversity and sustainable resource management.
Château Sainte-Catherine offers a diverse and distinctive range: Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux red, Bordeaux Blanc, Rosé, and Clairet. The reds captivate with their deep color and notes of spices, plum, brandy, and pepper. The whites, mineral and fresh, reveal aromas of white flowers, acacia, and citrus. The rosé, Provençal in style, charms with its pale hue and finesse, while the clairet—a light, refreshing red—offers an intriguing twist, enjoyed throughout the meal.
