Château DUPLESSY

Château Duplessy owes its name to a family of parliamentarians established in the Bordeaux region since at least the 16th century. The vineyard has existed with certainty since 1728. The Château combines history and environmental excellence on its hillsides overlooking the Garonne.
Committed to organic farming (Ecocert certified since 2014) and biodynamics since 2018, the estate prioritizes entirely manual harvests and precise plot-by-plot vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aging is carried out with rigor in French oak barrels.
The vineyard’s grape varieties (average age of 30 years) reflect the typical character of great Bordeaux wines:
Red wines: Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Cabernet Franc (15%).
White wines: Sauvignon Blanc (70%), Sémillon (20%), Muscadelle (5%), Sauvignon Gris (5%).
An exceptional terroir where tradition and respect for nature elevate every vintage.
