AOC Sainte-Croix-du-Mont
The Sainte-Croix-du-Mont appellation, located on the right bank of the Garonne River, is a hidden gem among the Bordeaux vineyards. Its 200 hectares produce sweet wines of great finesse and incomparable elegance, primarily from the Sémillon grape, but also from Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. These exceptional wines, with their aromas of ripe fruit and white flowers, are often compared to the classified growths of Sauternes, but frequently offer excellent value for money, making them a jewel accessible to all lovers of fine wines.

On the right bank of the Garonne, only the commune of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont can claim the name. Hilly topography composed of clay-limestone soil on a limestone subsoil containing visible fossilized oyster shells.
