The 2026 edition of the London Wine Fair closed with an extremely positive outcome for our represented appellations.
With a significantly higher attendance (over 10,000 visitors) and a highly qualified professional audience, the London trade fair buzzed with the latest innovations in the sector, confirming a profound shift in consumer expectations across the Channel.
The big trend? The British market is actively seeking freshness, drinkability, and authenticity, while remaining highly attentive to environmental criteria. This profile perfectly matches the typical characteristics of our wines from the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux region. Our dry whites, driven by the vibrancy of Sauvignon Blanc and the roundness of Sémillon, as well as our easy-drinking, fruit-forward reds, have been a hit with buyers and sommeliers!
The surprise also came from our sweet wines and sparkling wines, acclaimed for their ability to fit into cocktail culture and relaxed consumption moments.
This successful return from London demonstrates that our local products, often praised for their incredible value for money, have all the assets to appeal to the new generation of British consumers. A strong and very encouraging sign for our exports!
