Loupiac Gourmet Days and Foie Gras 2026: 30 years of shared pleasures!
On November 28th and 29th, 2026, the Loupiac appellation celebrates the 30th edition of the Loupiac & Foie Gras Gourmet Days. For an entire weekend, 18 wine estates will open their doors to the public to showcase the iconic pairing of Loupiac sweet wines and Landes farm-raised foie gras.
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can explore the participating châteaux, meet local winemakers and producers, sample regional specialties, and enjoy a variety of entertainment in an authentic and festive atmosphere. This unmissable event in Southwest France is also the perfect opportunity to prepare for the holiday season by stocking up on foie gras, confit, duck breast, and fine Loupiac wines.
A gourmet weekend in the heart of the vineyard
Throughout the event, the estates will host a foie gras producer to offer unique food and wine pairings. Between tastings in the cellars, vineyard tours, meetings with local artisans, and family activities, everyone can enjoy an immersive experience at the heart of the Gironde terroir.
At lunchtime, several properties will offer on-site catering showcasing regional specialties: Landes platters, grilled meats, duck burgers, gourmet planchas or traditional meals prepared from local products.
To mark this exceptional anniversary, a festive evening will be held on Saturday night to celebrate 30 years of the Loupiac & Foie Gras Open House. The detailed program will be announced soon.
Two emblematic skills of the Southwest
The Gourmet Days showcase two jewels of French gastronomy.
On one side, there is Loupiac, a sweet white wine produced on the hillsides of the right bank of the Garonne, whose aromatic richness comes in particular from the natural development of Botrytis Cinerea, promoting an exceptional concentration of sugars in the grapes.
On the other hand, there is the Landes Farm Duck, an essential reference in the gastronomy of the Southwest, recognized for its traditional open-air farming and benefiting from the official quality labels IGP and Label Rouge.
Grand prize draw
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a grand prize draw organized during the weekend. By submitting their entry form at participating châteaux, they can try to win bottles of Loupiac wine.
