AOC Premières Côtes de Bordeaux

The appellation stretches between the Garonne River and a first series of hillsides formerly known as Grandes Côtes. In autumn, the mists rising from the river, combined with the ideal sunshine on the hillsides, create optimal conditions for Botrytis cinerea. The microscopic fungus settles on the berries and concentrates their aromas.
