Château CHATARD

Nestled in Saint-Germain-des-Graves, on the sunny slopes of the Garonne’s right bank, Château Chatard is the result of a passionate project led by Anne and Jean-Rémi Larrat since 2008. This 5-hectare estate benefits from an exceptional terroir, where surface gravel provides finesse while the underlying clay offers power and depth.
True to a family-run and artisanal philosophy, the property is managed through organic farming. The owners meticulously cultivate traditional Bordeaux grape varieties—Merlot, Cabernets, and Malbec—to create elegant, balanced wines with distinct character, such as their signature cuvée, “Les Terres Mêlées.”
More than just a vineyard, Château Chatard is a place for sharing. With its traditional Girondine house reminiscent of Tuscany and its breathtaking forest views, the estate welcomes visitors for friendly tastings, stays in their charming gîte, and cultural events. It is an authentic stop to discover the soul and the art de vivre in the heart of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux region.
