CHATEAU LA YOTTE

Located in Loupiac, at the heart of the Bordeaux wine region, Château la Yotte embodies a remarkable alliance between centuries-old heritage and contemporary viticulture. Under the leadership of Axel Gustaf Lindskog, the estate has undergone a profound transformation, prioritizing a rigorous organic approach from the very moment its young vines were planted.
The terroir is defined by steep slopes plunging toward the Garonne River, where a rich mosaic of grape varieties flourishes. Alongside the classic Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the estate cultivates rarer or ancient varieties such as Malbec, Castets, and Touriga Nacional, not to mention a surprising touch of Chenin Blanc. This diversity of soils—ranging from fertile clay to yellow limestone—allows for the crafting of wines with immense precision.
Deeply committed to biodiversity, the Château utilizes sustainable technologies, including robotics and solar panels, to enhance its vintages. Balancing tradition and innovation, Château la Yotte offers a modern and bold interpretation of Bordeaux wines, blending freshness, structure, and ambition.
