Château HAUT PEYRAT

Nestled on the hills above Cambes, overlooking the Garonne River, Château Haut Peyrat is a hidden gem of the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Its story took a new turn in 2014, when Isabelle and Didier Gil, swept off their feet by love at first sight, acquired this 40-hectare estate to breathe new life into its historic buildings and exceptional terroir. The estate’s cultivation is based on a rare balance: 20 hectares of vineyards sit alongside 20 hectares of woods and meadows. This preserved biodiversity, a true “little Bordeaux Tuscany,” thrives on south-facing gravelly and clay-limestone soils. The wines reflect this commitment to quality. The flagship wine, Château Haut Peyrat, stands out for its structure and elegance, while the Prélude offers a fruitier profile. Blending tradition and modernity, the estate produces reds with character and a fresh rosé (Carrelet d’Haut Peyrat), regularly praised by international critics for their finesse and precision
