Domaine de Darbalot

Located in Capian (33550), Domaine de Darbalot is run by Lionel and Danielle Moncla, partners in an EARL. Brother and sister are descended from a long line of winegrowers who were already thinking about respectful practices.
The vineyard cultivation is certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and joined the ECOPHYTO farm network (a product of the Grenelle Environment Forum) in 2012. Numerous partnerships have been established to advance research into more environmentally friendly agriculture.
Earl Vignobles Moncla, which operates Domaine de Darbalot, is supported by essential family values: respect for the land, solidarity, hard work, and sustainable development. Domaine de Darbalot offers a wide range of products: dry white, rosé, clairet, red, sweet, liqueur, and grape juice. One of the estate’s specialties is its old red vintages, including a few bottles of the exceptional 2005. Starting in the fall of 2025, exotic fruit flavors will be available in various forms. The winery is open every day of the year, by appointment only.
